Understanding how mental manipulation works can empower you and those you love.

Diane understands how painful it is to leave a group or organization that has felt like family. She understands the confusion that comes with questioning a belief system that has seemed like the truth. It may have provided answers to life’s hard questions. You may have devoted yourself to the group wholeheartedly, only to find it wasn’t what you though it was.

I am here to help.
You are not alone.

Diane is passionate about sharing her experiences with people and explaining difficult psychology topics in ways that are relatable, by funneling them towards and educating them about practical and supportive solutions. In speaking directly to a host of individuals and families affected by extremist and religious organizations like QAnon, NXVIM and MAGA over the course of nearly a lifetime, Diane’s aim has been to help cult members exit with dignity and regain their individual lives.

She has spent many years of effort to find a comprehensive solution to this problem of psychological manipulation. By defining psychological manipulation as a public health problem and developing ways to combat it with education, support and outreach, Diane is determined to provide you with a solution that is proportional to the dangerous and harmful effects these deceptive tactics have on individuals, families and society at large.

Expert Knowledge.
First hand Experience.

Feeling a kinship with former members of violent extremist groups, gangs and those who have been the victims of psychologically controlling situations, Diane has set out to talk with, on camera, those who have experienced mental manipulation in a variety of setting. She believes that “many voices tell a better story” and hopes these interviews will tell an important story we can all learn from.
